Second Opinion Program

Second Opinion Program

“Getting a second opinion is a normal practice in medicine, and an important step on your path to wellness. Our Second Opinion Program was created to provide both patients, and other physicians, with the information necessary to confidently make informed decisions.”

– Matthew Crooks, MD

What is a Second Opinion Program?

Getting a second opinion is an important step in your medical journey. We created our Second Opinion Program to empower patients with a deeper understanding of where they are now and confidence in their journey to recovery. Second opinions are a common practice in medicine, and you owe it to yourself to feel secure in what lies ahead. It's time you have confidence you deserve with your pain or spine diagnosis.

To get started with our Second Opinion Program, call our office at (480) 407-6400

Common FAQs

How Much Does it Cost? Expand

Our Second Opinion is very affordable at a cash rate of $100. If you participate in an accepted payer plan, then your second opinion may only be your standard co-pay to see a specialist. If your insurance will not cover it

What is the Process? Expand

First, you’ll make an appointment with Pinnacle Pain and Spine and bring your records to the consult. Our team will review them with you and you'll discuss the type of pain treatments and surgeries you've had along with the outcomes you've experienced. Then our specialists will give you our expert opinion on the best plan of care moving forward.

Additionally, you're free to share your diagnosis and plan of care with anyone of your choosing. You’re not obligated to seek further care at Pinnacle Pain and Spine, although many do. It is simply our goal to provide those in pain with the best information to make confident healthcare decisions.
