Aaron DeGroot, D.O.
Dr. DeGroot is originally from Oregon and received Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology from Portland State University. He continued his education at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine where he received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. Dr. DeGroot completed his residency at John C. Lincoln Hospital, in Phoenix, AZ.
Dr. DeGroot is board certified and a diplomate of American Board of Osteopathic Family Physicians. Dr. DeGroot maintains his memberships with the American Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of Pain Medicine, and the American Academy of Integrated Pain Management.
Over the course of his career, Dr. DeGroot has treated thousands of people for both chronic and acute pain. The focus of his practice has been treating patients suffering from Osteoarthritis. Dr. DeGroot has extensive experience with both fluoroscopic and ultrasound guided joint injections. He also has training in Botox for Chronic Migraines and regenerative medicine, PRP/Stem cell therapy.
Dr. DeGroot has worked with Dr. Crooks for several years and has recently joined the team at Pinnacle Pain and Spine. They share the same philosophy and multimodality approach in treating patients with chronic pain.
Outside of work Dr. DeGroot enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, cooking and supporting our local professional sports teams.
